Quality Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Officer to join our team at Christadelphian Aged Care in North Parramatta, NSW. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact on the quality of care we provide to our residents.

What you'll be doing

Developing, implementing and monitoring quality assurance systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

Conducting audits, reviews and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Analysing and reporting on quality indicators and performance data to drive continuous quality improvements

Providing training and support to staff on quality management practices

Collaborating with the clinical team to investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or complaints

Maintaining comprehensive documentation and records to demonstrate quality performance

What we're looking for

Current APHRA registration as RN with no conditions or restrictions

Minimum 1 year's experience in a Quality role (preferred, not required).

Minimum of 1 years' experience in the aged care industry is desirable.

Strong understanding of quality management principles, relevant legislation and industry standards

Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality outcomes

Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted work rights
