Job Description
The Network of Alcohol and other Drugs Agencies (NADA) is the peak organisation for non government alcohol and other drugs services in NSW. We advocate for, strengthen and support the sector. As a member driven peak body, NADA’s decisions and actions are informed by the experiences, knowledge and concerns of its membership.
This exciting position will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day administrative tasks, maintaining a well-organised and tidy office environment, and meeting the various administrative support needs of the organisation. This position is essential to supporting the daily operations and involves working collaboratively with all staff, particularly the NADA executive team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in maintaining the effective operation of the office
Coordinate meetings and secretariat duties
Organising travel and accommodation for NADA staff
Executive diary management and administration support including assisting with reports and other tasks as directed
Financial administration such as preparing accounts receivable/payable, staff reimbursements and maintain petty cash
Respond or redirect enquiries from members via telephone, mail or email and other reception duties
ESSENTIAL AND DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
Experience in a similar all-round administrative role
Experience in organising meetings and minute taking
Demonstrated ability to liaise with staff and a range of stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner, and sustain working relationships
Capacity to prepare presentations, reports and general communication
High level of computer literacy with database and advanced Microsoft office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive and Teams
Basic experience in using accounting software systems such as Xero and Dext
Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise workload and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Basic experience in using Salesforce
Understanding and application of quality improvement concepts
Understanding of the alcohol and other drugs (or broader community services) sector
