As a Youth Worker, you will become a valued part of a dedicated and Compassionate team, who believe in providing outstanding service to clients in need.

About the Role

We’re seeking enthusiastic and caringYouth Workersto join our growing team. In this role, you’ll:

Provide one-on-one support to young people

Assist with life skills, mentoring, and community participation

Support with daily living activities in line with individual plans

Work flexibly across shifts (day, evening, and weekend availability may be required)

Ensure quality care while promoting independence and empowerment

All aspects of child safety practices

Seeking support workers to work with our clients with:

Diabetes type 1, Cystic Fibrosis, and a history of Self Harm

Shifts available for Monday - Sunday: 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm****including sleepovers

Role involves administration of an extensive list of medication

About you:

Attitude to go above and beyond with compassion and integrity

Work unsupervised

Desire to work with people with a wide range of interests, complexity and abilities

Uphold the Child Protection act 1999

Demonstrate good listening skills and build rapport and trust between clients

Experience working in the Aged Care, Community Care or Disability Sector

Mandatory Requirements:

Obtained or studying for Certificate IV in Youth Work (Or similar qualifications)

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

Valid driver’s license (preferrable manual)

Reliable Vehicle

Comprehensive Car Insurance

First Aid certificate

CPR certificate

Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

NDIS Modules (or willing to obtain)

Smart phone with reliable internet

Able to support with Inactive sleepover shifts.

Diabetes Management

Hope and Healing Foundational Training Certification

Youth Mental Health First Aid (Highly desirable)
