Interactive Community Care (ICCare) was established in 2010 as a specialist in the Community Services Sector and has now proudly served the people of NSW for more than a decade. Supporting families across NSW in the Hunter, Central Coast, Sydney, Mid-North Coast and Western regions, Interactive Community Care is committed to meeting the complex care needs of children, adolescents, and adults.
We are a passionate, supportive and community-focused organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for young people in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC). We strive to empower our young clients to build life skills, confidence, and resilience, while ensuring they receive the highest quality of care in a safe and nurturing environment.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dynamic Youth Worker with experience in working with young people in OOHC to join our dedicated team. We are proud to be partnering with the Lumiere Foundation to offer this opportunity. You will be employed by Lumiere Foundation for work onsite with ICCare.

The Role
As a youth worker, you will be supporting or mentoring young people and their families within specialised substitute residential care (previously voluntary out of home care) or OOHC ( out of home care). You will draw on your experience to provide guidance, support encouragement and developing life skills, ultimately setting our youth to become more independent and achieve a positive outcome. You will assist with activities of daily living and work in line with their plan to achieve their goals.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum 1 year experience working as a youth worker in residential setting
Minimum a Diploma (or working towards) in eitherYouth Work, Disability, Mental Health or Community Services
Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
Availability to work on 24/7 roster including nights and weekends
Unrestricted or minimum P2 license and comprehensively insured vehicle
Current First Aid
Current Working with Children's Check Certificate
Current NDIS Workers Check
