**Jabiru Community College (JCC)**in Zillmere, North Brisbane, is no ordinary school. We’re a small senior secondary special assistance school, home to about 85 incredible young people in Years 10–12. Many have had tough experiences in mainstream education, and we’re here to give them a new beginning — one grounded in connection, respect, and the belief that every student has strengths to shine.

As anYouth Support Worker, you’ll be the heartbeat of a small class group (Advisory), working alongside an Advisor /Teacher to: ✨ Build strong, trusting relationships with young people and their families ✨ Support attendance, wellbeing, and social and emotional learning ✨ Spark opportunities through projects, internships, cultural learning and community connections ✨ Cheerlead every success, big and small

Who you are: 🌱 A relationship-builder who sees the potential in every young person 🌱 Passionate about supporting First Nations, queer and neurodiverse young people 🌱 A collaborative team player who thrives in community 🌱 Experienced in working with young people in groups or one-on-one 🌱 Blue Card ready (or able to obtain) — driver’s licence is a big plus!
