Support Worker - Mango Hill

RCSare seeking a reliable and empathetic Support Workers to join our team in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) house in**Mango Hill.**You will be providing personalised care to a participant who has suffered a stroke and requires assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities:

**Manual Handling:**Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.

**Personal Care:**Help with personal hygiene, including showering and toileting.

**Domestic Assistance:**Support with household tasks including cleaning, cooking, and laundry.

**Community Access:**Accompany the participant to appointments, social activities, and outings within the community.

Requirements:

Experience in providing personal care, especially for individuals with physical disabilities or stroke recovery.

Manual handling training (or willingness to undergo training).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.

Current First Aid and CPR certification

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Blue card

Drivers licence and own vehicle
