Job Description
Brighter Living Australia is on the search for an Investor Liaison Officer. The Investor Liaison Officer is responsible for onboarding, educating, and communicating with investors and property owners within Brighter Living Australia’s Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) portfolio.
This is a Hybrid role; the role will commence at 3 days per week with a possibility of this increasing to full-time for the right person.
This role is critical in building relationships and supporting the organisation’s SDA property network by maintaining, retaining and fostering strong relationships with property owners, and ensuring compliance with SDA and NDIS regulations.
The Investor Liaison Officer will drive investment strategies, oversee investor engagement, and educate stakeholders on SDA compliance, funding models, and property management to ensure sustainable growth and high-quality accommodation for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the development and implementation of strategies to manage, retain, and foster relationships with SDA property investors and owners.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, managing all interactions from initial enquiry through to property handover, while providing ongoing support and market insights throughout the onboarding process.
· Maintain strong, proactive and consistent relationships with existing investors and property owners to enhance retention and long-term engagement.
· Maintain communication with internal stakeholders to ensure the success of Brighter Living Australia’s policies and procedures.
· Support, record and escalate as appropriate investor queries, concerns, and expectations regarding SDA compliance, financial returns, and operational management.
· Complete onboarding processes as per Brighter Living Australia’s policies and procedures.
Education & Compliance: • Support and guide investor education initiatives, providing insights on SDA regulations, funding models, compliance requirements, and best practices. • Ensure all investor agreements, contracts, and property developments align with SDA and NDIS compliance standards. Investment Strategy & Growth • Stay informed on market trends, government funding changes, and SDA investment opportunities. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure SDA properties meet investor expectations and participant needs. Stakeholder Collaboration • Work closely with the National Property Manager to ensure high-quality property management services for investors. • Collaborate with the Participant Procurement Team to align investment properties with participant demand. • Represent Brighter Living Australia at industry forums, networking events, and investment summits when required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Support the development and implementation of investor management processes and procedures in consultation with the Investor Care Manager.
- Retention and satisfaction rates of existing investors and property owners.
- Compliance with SDA, NDIS, and investment regulations.
- Effectiveness of investor education initiatives, materials, and engagement.
- Stakeholder satisfaction and positive feedback from investors and property owners.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in investment management, property development, or SDA-related real estate. • Proven track record in investor relations, property acquisitions, or business development. • Strong understanding of SDA investment models, NDIS funding, and compliance frameworks.
Desirable: Certification relevant to the role description.
Skills and Competencies: • Strong relationship management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities. • Knowledge of SDA property regulations and NDIS funding structures. • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset. • Ability to develop and deliver investor education programs effectively. • Proficiency in property management and CRM software.
Work Environment This role is a hybrid role including a mixture of remote and on-site work. Travel may be required for stakeholder meetings, site visits, and industry events.
