Salary $104,180.00 - $111,746.00 (Pro Rata) AHP3 | Saturday & Sunday roster, 15 hrs per fortnight
Join Noarlunga Hospital as a Senior Physiotherapist - an ongoing weekend opportunity where your expertise drives patient recovery!
This Senior Physiotherapist position presents an exceptional opportunity to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services across our diverse patients during weekend shifts. You'll assess, treat and manage complex cases while providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff. The role encompasses acute care physiotherapy interventions, discharge planning coordination, and collaborative care with our multidisciplinary weekend team.
About the role:
Provide comprehensive clinical supervision, mentorship and professional development guidance to junior physiotherapy staff and Allied Health Assistants, fostering their clinical expertise and career progression
Lead the development, review and evaluation of evidence-based clinical protocols, policies, procedures and resources to ensure alignment with contemporary best practice standards and optimal patient outcomes
Undertake clinical training and education activities, including the development of training resources
Liaise with the Director of Physiotherapy on service planning, quality standards, staff development, and operational matters within the division
About you:
Extensive clinical experience delivering physiotherapy services to diverse patients in acute medical settings, with particular expertise in managing complex cases and providing specialised care for older adults
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including advanced negotiation, consultation and conflict resolution abilities, with proven track record of building and maintaining strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership capabilities or strong motivation to develop management skills, with experience or enthusiasm for guiding teams and driving service excellence
A degree or equivalent which entitles registration as a physiotherapist with the physiotherapy board of Australia
