Job Description
We are seeking a Scheduler Coordinator with strong rostering and people skills to join our disability service team. This is a fast-paced role managing 70 staff and over 250 participants daily rosters, covering varying participant ratios, group activities, and mentoring. Accuracy, adaptability, and quick responses are essential.
The successful applicant will have exceptional people and communication skills and be able build strong working relationships with both staff, participants and their families.
You will be responsible for creating and managing rosters, covering shifts, managing last - minute changes, cancellations and emergencies in a professional and timely manner across Supported Independent Living (SIL), respite, our day option hubs and community programs. You will ensure fairness, cultural understanding, and respect are embedded in rostering decisions.
Applicants**must have scheduling/rostering experience within the disability sector.**Excellent time management, multi-tasking, problem solving abilities and the ability to stay calm and adaptable under pressure are critical. Being forward thinking, proactive and able to manage competing priorities while supporting a healthy work- life balance is essential.
You will be required to be proficient in rostering platforms such asShift care (or similar), with the ability to maintain and update the data base on a regular basis. Ensuring compliance with NDIS requirements and SCHADS awards are met.
This role also includes participation in a rotatingafter - hours, on - call rosterand the flexibility to cover frontline shifts when required to ensure continuity of care.
