Job Description
Exciting, unique opportunity for a dynamic and innovative Programs Manager to lead a team supporting our residents to achieve their housing and employment outcomes. Our Longer-Term Accommodation Programs have properties currently located in**Western, and South-Western Sydney,**with further growth opportunities planned.****This is a permanent, full-time role.
Dignity’s longer-term housing program provides stable housing and wrap-around support, empowering people to end their homelessness.
Our Ready to Work, Intergenerational. Transition to Lease, Transition to Work, and other supportive programs create that opportunity. With multiple sites our program initiatives are growing, and we are now looking for an experienced Programs Manager to oversee program initiatives and provide strong, proactive leadership to the Programs team.
Bring your trauma informed, and person-centered program coordination to supporting individuals and families who are experiencing, or at risk of homelessness. We are a charity with a different perspective. By keeping people, families and community at the heart of everything we do, and providing essential services, we walk alongside people on their journey back 'home'. Our mission is to empower people with Dignity and prevent, respond to, and end homelessness.

Key duties
· Overall responsibility for managing Dignity’s longer-term housing programs ensuring effectiveness and positive program outcomes.
Provide strong leadership and development to Program Co-ordinators to assist in achieving positive Program outcomes.
Network and develop strategic relationships with affiliate support services and referral agencies.
Maintain relationships with current Employment Partners and proactively source new connections.
Be the Dignity representative at interagency meetings, community outreach days and events to enhance our Dignity Programs.
Develop and maintain other program initiatives to support people experiencing homelessness.
Ensure accommodation sites continually meet Dignity standards.
What you'll need
Previous experience in the community services sector
Program experience ideally in implementing and managing program initiatives
Previous people leadership with a strong focussing on mentoring and developing staff
Strong verbal and written communication
Effective relationship and partnership management skills
Flexible and adaptable approach, with time management and problem-solving abilities, including project management
Valid Working with Children Check (for paid work)
First Aid/CPR Certification
DV Aware Certification or willingness to obtain
NSW drivers' licence and reliable vehicle
Ability to travel across multiple sites
Location: Campbelltown & Kingswood | Hybrid | WFH on occasion
Position: Permanent Full Time | Monday to Friday | 38 hours per week
