Physiotherapist

Established in 1979, KNC Care is the one largest independent, not-for-profit, community-led organisation which offers comprehensive cost effective access to services. We believe in a holistic approach to health and fitness for the older population of our community. We are currently opening 2 wellness centres at St Ives and Lane Cove which offers a range of services, including one on one physiotherapy treatments, group classes, and wellness programs. We’re committed to helping our clients achieve their fitness goals while promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.

Provide hands-on therapy, education, and support to enhance recovery and mobility.

Ensuring high levels of satisfaction among clients.

Through equipment assessment and prescription, identify and provide solutions that support client autonomy and well-being.

Foster collaboration and successful outcomes by communicating effectively with clients, families, and caregivers.

Collaborate with care managers, nurses, social worker and other health professionals to optimize client outcomes.

Ensure seamless care coordination and accurate progress tracking through meticulous record-keeping.

Key Requirements:

Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA general registration.

Current first aid and CPR certificate.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals.

Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy whilst working effectively with other health professionals and service providers.

Three plus years of experience in a fitness or wellness setting or community physiotherapy.

Valid NSW driver’s license
