Physiotherapist
Full Time – Part Time considered
Grade 1 or 2 – dependent on experience
The Role:
The Mildura Base Public Hospital Physiotherapy Department provides services across acute and sub-acute settings.
Grade 1– The Grade 1 Physiotherapist position will take part in a rotational roster across acute, sub-acute and outpatient services
Grade 2 –
To provide comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients within the designated caseload in inpatient services
Provide support, supervision and direction to Grade 1 physiotherapists, students and allied health assistants as required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent
Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)
Years of experience (within the Australian Healthcare system):
Grade 1: 1-5 years of acute hospital experience of caseloads such as neurological, orthopaedic, respiratory and surgical conditions
Grade 2: Minimum 5 years of acute hospital experience of caseloads such as neurological, orthopaedic, respiratory and surgical condition, ideally HCU/ICU experience also.
Demonstrated ability to be an independent adult learner, independently seeking external professional development and guiding clinical supervision to their needs
This role is classified under the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement starting from Physiotherapist Grade 1 Year 1 $70,589.8336 (VA3) to Physiotherapist Grade 2 Year 4 $103,724.3896 (VB4), based on relevant years of experience.
