Meliora Life Australia is a Queensland-based disability service provider committed to delivering high-quality, culturally safe supports under the NDIS. We are urgently seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Support Worker with experience in disability support and mental health to join our team

About the Role:

Provide 1:1 support to NDIS participants with disability and psychosocial needs

Deliver culturally responsive care that recognises and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.

Assist clients with daily living, community access, and wellbeing activities.

Work collaboratively with families, carers, and allied health professionals

Key Requirements:

To perform this role, it is essential that the person identifies as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (QLD)

Demonstrated experience supporting people with disability and/or mental health conditions.

Cert IV in Disability/Mental Health recommended

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).

First Aid & CPR certification.

Driver’s license, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
