Connect2Group is currently seeking aFull Time Team LeaderforSupported Independent****Living(Based in Forest Lake).
This role supports the Community Living Coordinator in the operational and day-to-day running of the service including the supervision and guidance of Support Worker Teams, assisting with staff rostering, attending stakeholder meetings, QCAT hearings and any other meetings as required and other assigned administrative duties and undertaking direct support shifts as rostered.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support a team of support workers, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Ensure clients receive appropriate support with daily living and self-care activities and directly provide that support
Ensure Schedule and assist residents to attend medical and allied health appointments and oversee practices that uphold the health and wellbeing of residents
Monitor adherence of the support team to the Person Centred Plan and weekly program of support activities
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure that SIL programs runs in a financially sustainable manner
To be considered for this role ideally you will possess:
Formal Qualifications (at Certificate 111 or above) in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of experience in stakeholder engagement and team supervision
Demonstrated experience managing admin or customer service teams
Strong people leadership and operational coordination skills
In-depth understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, participant rights, and safeguarding
Experience in hoisting, manual handling, and physical disability support
Valid QLD Driver’s Licence
Current NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Card, First Aid, CPR & own vehicle with insurance
