Disability Support Worker

At Mirrors Care Pty Ltd, we are committed to supporting people of all ages with a physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disability. We need you to join our team to provide a service to ensure our clients are supported to embrace every opportunity for a better quality of life.

We are building our team and are seeking experienced support workers for fulltime and permanent parttime positions. We are looking for people who can join immediately and help grow our team which the majority of services are South regions of Perth. You are expected to:

Must have good availability for day and night shifts.

Provide direct care assistance to each individual in accordance with their service plan.

Work in accordance with the medication administration policy, work health and safety procedures.

Support individuals to participate in age-appropriate activities and tasks including employment, in home support and community access.

Support individuals to access activities and outings in the community.

Promote community inclusion, independence, decision making and personal choice with a focus on individual needs.

ESSENTIAL:

Genuine desire to provide the best quality support for people with disabilities

Reliable character

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals, their families, community organisations and other professionals

Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as a part of a team

Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues

Valid WA Driver's Licence

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid & CPR Certificate

Working with Children Check

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

Certificate III in Disability or other relevant qualification

Experience in the delivery of personal care services and/or behaviours that challenge is viewed favourably
