Disability Support Worker Brisbane North

Support Services Queenslandprovides in home support, community access and Support Independent Living across Brisbane Moreton Bay, Redlands and Ipswich. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic disability support workers to join our team. We promote individuality and respect.

The position being offered is permanent part time and based in Brisbane North. Applicants must be willing to weekends and sleepovers.

The Role:

Disability Support Workers work directly with people with a disability, their families/ guardians and all relevant stakeholders. Disability Support Workers provide opportunities for the people they support to increase their capacity and expand their networks. Engagement and inclusivity are necessary for success.

Essential Requirements:

Australian Drivers License

NDIS Disability Workers Screening

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Current First Aide and CPR

Manual Handling competency evidence (or willingness to complete)

The right to work in Australia

Availability to work across 7 days

Competent with Microsoft Office suite particularly MS Word and MS Outlook

Certificate III/IV in Aged, Community or Disability Care Preferred

Entry rate of $34 per hour. Adjustments may be applicable based on qualifications and or experience.
