Disability Services Manager – Blacktown
National Premier Disability Services Pty Ltd is a flexible NDIS provider that strives to enhances the opportunities of people with disabilities to have an engaging, self-determined, and fulfilling life within the community. NPDS actively provides quality services in Sydney, Orange, Brisbane, and Perth.
We are seeking to employ a full-time Disability Services Manager for our Sydney Branch who is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the continued growth and financial viability.
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging leader, who is a strategic thinker that is driven to achieve. You will be an experienced manager who has a determination and passion to ensure ongoing growth and sustainability whilst delivering high quality, individualised services.
Key Selection Criteria
****Relevant formal qualification in Disability/Community Services, Management or Business.
Extensive experience in service management and actively supporting people with a disability, in both a community, and accommodation setting.
An extensive knowledge of the principles, practices, and implementation of quality services that are participant driven
Thorough understanding of the human services sector with an in-depth knowledge of NDIS, industry standards, quality frameworks and legislative requirements, ensuring compliance.
Solid understanding of the NDIS and the industry, with proven networking and community connections, and the ability to successfully brand, market and engage with target audiences.
Demonstrated experience in business growth and development, ensuring ongoing financial viability and, expanding and developing new and innovative programs and services.
Initial split would be 75% Business Development and 25% Operations, to be reviewed after 6 months.
Organisational representation at relevant industry expos, inter-agency forums, external networking opportunities, community development committees and working forums ensuring positive relationship development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written and demonstrated ability to apply these skills across a variety of engagements with participants, families, external stakeholders and providers, community groups, governments and regulatory bodies, employees, and senior management.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Transparency and accountability in setting and meeting KPI’s
Current National Police Check
Current Working with Children Check
NDIS Workers Clearance
Valid Driver’s License and Own Vehicle
