Team Leader (Residential Services)

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our dedicated & passionate team on a permanent part time basis within our Residential and Respite facility in Watsonia, caring for individuals with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.

You will be responsible for:

Leading, managing and supporting the Team with the day-to-day operation to ensure a coordinated, consistent, and high-quality approach to service delivery by providing training, coaching, and mentorship to your team.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to clients.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet client needs and goals.

Develop and maintain relationships with family members and significant others to promote positive outcomes for participants.

Overseeing all administrative and operational tasks related to client services.

Providing input into the development of client care plans and goals; and encouraging and supporting the involvement of clients in this process.

Maintaining a home-like environment for clients; and supporting them to engage with the community.

Managing risk, hazards and damages.

Identify continuous improvements.

Supporting the Residential Manager through the completion of ad hoc tasks including but not limited to; rostering, investigations, incident managements, recruitment and more.

We seek an individual with:

Certificate IV in Disability or similar

Current CPR and first aid Certificate

Current WWCC

NDIS screening clearance and NDIS workers orientation module

Previous Experience as a Team Leader in a residential setting

Proficient computer literacy skills.

An understanding of progressive neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis (desirable).

Flexibility to work a mixture of weekday, evening & weekend shifts; and to work additional hours to replace absent staff.

Must hold full working rights in Australia with no restrictions
