Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team at Purpose Care Services. In this part-time/casual role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our elderly and disabled clients in the home, in the Ridgewood WA 6030 and Craigie WA 6025 area.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing companionship and engaging clients in social and recreational activities

Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team

Advocating for clients' needs and ensuring their comfort and safety

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in aged or disability care, either in a professional or personal capacity

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience using hoists, however, training will be provided.

A drivers license is essential.
