About Better Pride Home Care

Position Purpose
The Support Worker provides high-quality, flexible, and reliable support to NDIS participants. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing by assisting clients with daily living, community participation, and individualised care needs.
Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance).
Support with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
Assist clients to access community, social, and recreational activities.
Provide transport to appointments, shopping, and outings as required.
Implement and follow individual support plans and behaviour support plans.
Encourage independence and skill-building in daily living activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in line with NDIS requirements.
Ensure the safety, privacy, and dignity of all clients at all times.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Better Pride Home Care team.
Adhere to organisational policies, NDIS Code of Conduct, and Work Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or working towards (desirable).
Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (with comprehensive insurance).
COVID-19 Vaccination (in line with public health requirements).
Previous experience in disability, aged care, or community support (preferred).
