Support Worker - Aged Care and Disability

****About the Roles: We are currently seeking dedicated Aged Care and Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting clients with community accessand participation in recreational activities
• Providing personal careincluding showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance
• Assisting with manual handlingand using mobility equipment such as wheelchairs or hoists
• Providing transportationand encouraging social engagement
• Performing light domestic dutiessuch as meal preparation and cleaning Eligibility Criteria: To be successful in this role, you must have:
• A minimum of 6 months paid experiencesupporting individuals with disabilities
• A Certificate III or IVin Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services
• A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
• A current or willingness to obtain:
• First Aid
• Police Check
• The following certifications are highly regarded:
• PEG Feeding Certificate
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Basic Life Support Certificate
• Medication Administration Training
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
