We’re looking for a qualified, curious, and kind Speech Pathologist who’s excited to join a team that’s flipping the script on traditional therapy and embracing a neurodiversity-affirming, child-led approach.

If you believe echolalia is beautiful, AAC is empowering, and scripts are valid forms of self-expression, we’re already speaking your language.

About Us

The Neuro Nest is a values-driven, neuro-affirming therapy practice supporting neurodivergent children, teens, young adults and families through relationship-based, collaborative, and creative support.

We work across:

Early language and communication support

Multimodal communication including AAC, Key Word Sign, and Gestalt Language Processing

Parent coaching and co-regulation strategies

Social connection and self-advocacy skills

Emotional literacy and regulation

School readiness and real-world participation

Interdisciplinary support with OTs, Psychologists, Social Workers, and DEs

We don’t correct communication, we celebrate it. We amplify voices in all forms, build connection first, and always respect autonomy.

We're Looking For a Speechie Who:

Holds a recognised Speech Pathology degree and SPA membership

Embraces neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based practice

Values all communication equally — verbal, gestural, typed, signed or scripted

Enjoys working with children and families in a collaborative, playful way

Brings creativity, warmth and emotional insight to their therapy

Is confident or keen to learn about AAC and Gestalt Language Processing

Bonus if you're GLP or PODD trained.
