Are you looking for the first or next step in your career? Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist looking for a leadership and clinical role?
OSCAR Care Group provides Food Safety support, Food Safety Auditing & Training, Allied Health services such as Dietetics, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy services to Aged Care, Child Care, NDIS & Home Care clients across Australia as well as our Private Practice in Mount Waverley VIC.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech Pathologist to add to our team and provide supportive clinical services to our expanding number of clients around the Melbourne area.
A varied and flexible role in an amazing and supportive team. Would suit a Speech Pathologist looking for a leadership and mentor role.
Key details of the position -
Full Time opportunities available

Provide high quality specialised care to our Clinic, NDIS, Paediatric & Adult clients.
Aged Care experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Leadership opportunities available to the right candidate looking to take their career to the next level
Diagnose and assess individuals for swallowing and communication issues
Provide therapy and management plans for individuals with dysphagia and/or communication disorders
Assist with well-established training programs where required.
Key Selection Criteria -
Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
Agreement to a National History Criminal Check prior to commencement of employment
Current Working with Children Check.
Thorough knowledge and experience in communication and dysphagia assessment and management
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI)
Experience providing evidenced based care to children and young adult clients.
Flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination - as part of government requirements to enter into aged care facilities as of the 17th September 2021.
