Job Description
We are looking for two new Speech Pathologists (part-time or full time) working with a diverse adult caseload, to join our team (Senior, general and/or early grad position)- From any location in Sydney (and also have a great caseload in Hornsby, East, South/East or West Sydney area- but flexible with locations).
About us: We are a Speech Pathology Private Practice that provides communication and swallowing intervention for a range of adult clients, including within a Rehab hospital, Residential Aged Care Facilities, Private Hospitals and our Burwood clinic, as well as providing at-home community visits. We take pride in being able to provide high quality care to clients from the comfort of their own home, taking care to ensure their needs and goals are met with a high degree of attention and support. We cater the role to the successful applicant according to location and caseload they prefer.

Depending on the successful applicant, your working location within Sydney can be flexible, and the caseload tailored to your experience and preference. OR work from home from any location within Australia.
Travel is paid for employees when providing home visits/hospital/aged care services- and limited travel is required.
You will be offered professional development opportunities and support, as well as having a senior Speech Pathologist always available as needed.
Limited admin required so you can just enjoy working with clients, and we don't mention 'billable hours' as we are not a money focused practice.

We pay above award rates for our Speech Pathologists.
Lisa Forbes is the Principal Speech Pathologist, who has been running the practice for 20 years. She is passionate about helping clients to improve their quality of life and to meet their goals with the help of their family and support network. Lisa is intent on providing constant support for her staff, building rapport with clients and health professionals, as well as delivering high quality care to people all over Sydney.
Lisa is the SPA NSW/ACT Private Practice Network Leader, and has recently been on the Board of Directors for the Central and Eastern Sydney Allied Health Network. She also provides a large volunteer focus for the community, giving her own time to regularly support staff and the community in a wide variety of areas.
We have the following opportunities for the successful applicant:
Working within a neuro/rehab (including in a rehab hospital), aged care or disability role (please mention your preferred option in your application)
Supervising students or speech pathologists (if desired)

Essential Criteria:
Speech Pathology Degree
Current drivers licence and access to your own vehicle
Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible for membership)
COVID-19 and influenza immunisation (Government requirements).
Preferred at least 1+ years experience working with adults with communication and swallowing difficulties (preferred)
New grads/early career SPs are welcomed to apply.

Ability to successfully assess, diagnose and treat clients/patients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
Happy, caring, positive personality
