About the job
Some of your responsibilities will be:
Facilitate the development, implementation, and review of individualised support plans and relevant learning materials to build each participant’s capacity for independence, social connection, and community engagement
Deliver high-quality support across a variety of settings, including centre-based, community, and in-home, through both group and one-to-one facilitation
Develop and facilitate evidence-based group and social activities that promote skill development in areas such as independence, daily living, communication, and community engagement
Support participants in identifying and pursuing their individual goals and meaningful life experiences, utilising person-centred, strengths-based approaches
Ensure services are welcoming, accessible, compassionate, person-centred, trauma informed, culturally safe and inclusive of all present. Include perspectives of children, First Nations peoples, people with disability, members of LGBTQIA+ communities and people from CALD communities
About you
To be a successful candidate you will have:
Certificate IV in Disability Work or relevant experience in working with people with disabilities
Current NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and evidence of completion of the NDIS Quality, Safety and You course
Current First Aid Certificate
A Can Do Attitude, able to work with initiative and as a team member, be passionate about delivering quality services
Current Drivers Licence with ability and willingness to drive and operate within Sydney metropolitan areas
