The Child and Youth Mental Health Service at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Senior Mental Health Clinician – Intake Team to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

The position provides professional leadership and coordination of clinical services in the designated service stream (Child and Youth Mental Health). The position will oversight the work of the CYMHS intake team. This can include the provision of brief psychotherapy and facilitating effective relationships with other relevant teams (e.g., ACT, CAU) and agencies (e.g., Child Safety).

About the Team

The community Child and Youth Mental Health Service Team provides intake, assessment, treatment and case management services to young people (and families) with moderate to severe mental health issues.
