Assist the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and Senior Manager (SM) to ensure the successful delivery of employment services by monitoring and overseeing the efficient and effective day to day operations of employment services, employees and resources at the Site as required
Annual salary is $79,627 + 12% super

About the position
We are seeking applications forSenior Employment Mentor'sbased at either our Parammatta, Noble Park or Heidelberg locations.
If successful in your application asSenior Employment Mentor, you will provide individualised support, assistance and guidance to job seekers addressing/overcoming barriers to employment and ensuring that they gain suitable employment opportunities within an appropriate time frame. You will negotiate, monitor and review the delivery of employment support services for clients. This involves the case management of a caseload of job seekers, reverse marketing candidates, job search training and supporting employers as they take on candidates. Alongside assisting the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and Senior Manager (SM) to ensure the successful delivery of employment services by monitoring and overseeing the efficient and effective day to day operations of employment services, employees and resources at the Site as required.

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar position
Ability to effectively coordinate day-to-day activities at a service delivery site
Proven analytical and problem solving skills and a proactive approach to seeking solutions
Strong communication skills (both verbal, written and numerical) including the ability to train people from various backgrounds
Strong time management, organisational and well developed computer skills (including intermediate Microsoft Office skills)
Proficiency in compliance and adherence to policy, procedures and guidelines
Strong knowledge and understanding of employment support services, specifically for refugee cohorts, clients from a CALD background, clients who identify as ATSI or CALD clients with disability, and the challenges and barriers they face
Knowledge of the labour market & programs
Proven ability to motivate clients, and advocate on their behalf
Ability to build rapport & conduct objective assessment of the clients’ skills & abilities
Exceptional customer service skills
Proven ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
Attention to detail
As travel between Sites may be necessary, a current valid Driver’s Licence is desirable for this role
It is a mandatory requirement for the position holder to have and maintain a current Working With Children Check (for employment purposes)
