This role can be based at any of CTST’s statewide offices, offering flexibility and connection to the communities we serve.
About the Role
The Quality, Safety and Risk Improvement Specialist will create and drive contemporary continuous improvement initiatives, systems and processes to ensure CTST’s services meet aged care and NDIS standards, legislative and contractual requirements. They will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to promote safe, high-quality services for consumers, and ensure staff understand their safety and risk responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Cross Functional Lead for Quality, Safety & Risk Projects - leading structured problem-solving sessions with cross-functional teams, utilising tools such as RCA, and 5 Whys.
Instilling a continuous improvement mindset in staff and stakeholders and coach them on suitable tools and processes
Monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating quality systems to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
Facilitate the continuous improvement process to improve service quality indicators, consumer outcomes and experience
What You’ll Bring
A qualification or relevant experience in quality, compliance or auditing
Expertise leading business improvement efforts and implementing business operating systems
Expertise in coordinating and delivering projects on time and to budget
An ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others
An ability to blend compliance obligations with positive service delivery outcomes for consumers
Bonus points for: Experience in aged care, NDIS, or the not-for-profit sector.
All CTST employees must:
be an Australian Resident or hold an Australian Working Visa
hold a current driver’s licence
have a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card (or be willing to obtain)
be willing to obtain a National Police Check
