With decades of experience within the industry and a large network of experienced staff, Care Group Community Services was created as a full-service disability support provider.
Care Group Community Services purpose is to enhance our communities and alleviate hardship through the provision of support services, accommodation, and emergency care to those in need.
Our team provide in-depth framework, staffing, support solutions, accommodation and care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work in partnership with families, guardians, Support Coordinators, and other internal departments to provide personalised support and accommodation.
About the Role
The Quality & Compliance Officer oversees quality assurance and compliance functions and processes for the organisation. As part of this, the Quality & Compliance Manager undertakes responsibility for tasks related to quality management system and processes, document control, internal and external audits, and accreditation/contractual requirements, to support the on-going sustainability and viability of the organization.
Responsibility for the quality compliance duties, responsibilities and obligations of the organisation including direction, strategic development, performance, and maintenance
Quality compliance oversight and management to include legal/statutory, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations relating to our various funding and program requirements
Ensure all mandatory reporting is actioned accurately and within required timeframes
Ensure safety and risk is managed by ensuring risks are identified and action is taken to minimise risk
Ensure central incident management system is updated and reflects all incidents being reported through
Skills
A degree level qualification in relevant governance or compliance-related discipline (e.g., risk management, compliance, health management) highly regarded but not essential
Experience working in a quality or compliance function, preferably in the health or community services sector
Proven experience in quality/accreditation audits, tools, and resources
Well-developed communication skills, with proven ability to resolve differences of opinion/perspective
