Quality and Compliance Officer
Part-time: 2 Days per Week

Do you have experience in the healthcare sector and want to make a real difference in people's lives? Nurse Next Door Cairns is looking for apart-time Quality and Compliance Officerto join our team.
This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in upholding our commitment to delivering the highest standards of care. You’ll be responsible for maintaining our compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, ensuring our services are always safe, effective, and client-focused.
What you’ll do
-
Maintain and monitor compliancewith the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Standards and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Manage our audit schedule- execute internal audits and prepare us for external audits, including the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) and NDIS registration audits.

Coordinate the continuous improvement planby identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and monitoring their effectiveness.
Provide training and supportto our experienced management team on quality and compliance matters and ensure we are maintaining impeccable standards.
Investigate and respond toincidents and feedback, ensuring all issues are handled appropriately and in line with our quality protocols.
Who you are
-
You haveproven experiencein a quality and compliance role, preferably within the aged care, disability, or home healthcare sector.
You arehighly knowledgeableabout the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS legislation.
You haveexcellent analytical skillsand a keen eye for detail.
You are astrong communicator, capable of building relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.
You areself-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
You have agenuine desireto contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
You have excellent computer skills.
