Practice Manager – Allied Health Clinic

We are seeking a Practice Manager with previous experience in medical or allied health practice

About the Role

The Practice Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth workflow, exceptional patient service and support for our practitioners and reception team. This is a front of house role that requires a mature and professional leader with exceptional communication and organisational skills, dedication, commitment and drive, along with high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily clinic operations, policies, and procedures.

High level organisation and administrative skills with strong attention to detail

Lead, support, and manage the practitioners and support staff, including onboarding, rostering, training, and performance reviews.

Provide operational and administrative support to practitioners, enabling them to focus on patient care.

Provide exceptional patient scheduling and efficient billing processes, including private billing, Medicare, TAC, NDIS and WorkSafe

Ensure compliance with operational and medicolegal obligations.

Manage budgets, reporting, and clinic performance indicators.

Manage payroll software, timesheets and leave provisions

Handle patient feedback and staff issues in a professional and timely manner.

Build positive relationships and networks within the community

Enhance referral systems and clinic marketing

Ensure timely and accurate communication to clinic stakeholders

Previous healthcare experience essential

Promote a positive, respectful, productive and supportive workplace culture.

A knowledge of Microsoft, Cliniko and Xero would be an advantage.

Keilor Health Centre is open from 8am to 7.30pm. Applicants must be available Monday to Friday for a variety of shifts. Opening shifts may begin at 8.30am and closing shifts may conclude at 7.30pm
