About the Role:
Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a Physiotherapist for our Bribie Island location, working within our 119 bed Residential Aged Care Home in this idyllic beachside town.
As our Physiotherapist at Bribie Island Aged Care, you’ll be more than a clinician—you’ll be a trusted partner in our residents’ health journeys. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll help older Australians maintain their independence, mobility, and dignity through compassionate, evidence-based care. You’ll enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and staff alike, while contributing to a positive and supportive care environment.
About You
You are a compassionate and skilled physiotherapist who thrives in a collaborative, resident-focused environment. You bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians
Essential:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a qualified Physiotherapist.
- Minimum two years’ experience in physiotherapy (experience in aged care is highly regarded).
- Be available 8.30am– 4.30pm 5 days per fortnight
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
- Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
Desirable:
- Knowledge or experience using a computer-based maintenance management system
