Occupational Therapist

About the role

Join the vibrant Occupational Therapy team at Southern Cross Occupational Therapy. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in helping our clients regain their independence and improve their dignity and quality of life through personalised assessments and evidence-based interventions.

What you'll be doing

1.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs 2.

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address identified goals and areas of concern 3.

Liaise with other allied health professionals, doctors and families to ensure a coordinated approach to client care 4.

Complete thorough clinical documentation and participate in team meetings

What we're looking for

1.

Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 2.

Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to develop evidence-based treatment plans 3.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients 4.

Proficient in the use of digital technologies and client management software 5.

Experience in assistive technology prescription to meet individual needs 6.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice 7.

Adaptable and resilient, with a genuine passion for empowering clients to live their best lives
