Position: Occupational Therapist – Community & Remote Services
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in remote communities? We’re seeking a dynamicOccupational Therapistto join our growing team on Palm Island and Townsville!
About Us:
We currently provide vital services to Palm Island and Townsville through Occupational Therapy and are looking to expand our reach due to increasing demand. Our services are delivered across diverse settings, including community and home environments, funded by programs such as theNational Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)andHome Care Package (HCP).
The Role: This position is primarily based on Palm Island and will requireremote daily travel (completely funded).
As an Occupational Therapist working in an NDIS community setting, you’ll deliver tailored therapy services that promote independence, functionality, and well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and developing client-centered intervention plans.
Collaborating with clients, families, and caregivers to achieve meaningful goals.
Providing evidence-based therapy in home and community settings.
Supporting individuals with diverse needs, including neurological, developmental, and physical conditions.

Flexible hours, Monday to Friday availability preferred.
Essential Requirements:
AHPRA Registration(Required)
Driver’s License(Required)
Public and Professional Liability Insurance(Required)
Working with Children Check/Blue Card(Required)
NDIS Worker Screening Check(Required)
Medicare Provider Number
Experience: Previous experience in community-based therapy and NDIS settings is highly desirable.
