Occupational Therapist

We want you to join our passionate team at Play-based Paediatrics . As a mobile Occupational therapist servicing the greater Brisbane area, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, play-based therapy to support the physical, cognitive and social development of children with a range of needs. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young clients. We are willing to consider a flexible starting date for the right applicant.

What you'll be doing

1.

Provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for paediatric clients 2.

Implement evidence-based, play-focused interventions to achieve client goals and improve functional outcomes 3.

Collaborate closely with families, caregivers and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive, holistic approach 4.

Document clinical notes, progress reports and other administrative tasks in a timely manner 5.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our paediatric therapy services 6.

Participate in team meetings, in-services and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

1.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy 2.

Registration as an Occupational therapist with AHPRA. 3.

Valid Drivers' licence 4.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and their families 5.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team 6.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills 7.

Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality, fun, innovative paediatric Occupational therapy services 8.

New graduates should apply if you are passionate about paediatric Occupational therapy.
