About the role
Ability to Achieve is seeking a passionate and empathetic NDIS Support Worker to join our team in Revesby, NSW. As a casual NDIS Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Facilitating community access and engagement, including accompanying clients on outings and social activities
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to help clients develop their skills and confidence
- Collaborating with the client, their family, and the broader support team to develop and implement individualised support plans
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant care
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
- Relevant experience in the aged care, disability, or community services sector
- A strong understanding of the NDIS and the ability to tailor support to individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with clients
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's license
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills in this rewarding field
