NDIS Support worker

About the role

Ability to Achieve is seeking a passionate and empathetic NDIS Support Worker to join our team in Revesby, NSW. As a casual NDIS Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Facilitating community access and engagement, including accompanying clients on outings and social activities
• Providing emotional support and encouragement to help clients develop their skills and confidence
• Collaborating with the client, their family, and the broader support team to develop and implement individualised support plans
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant care
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience in the aged care, disability, or community services sector
• A strong understanding of the NDIS and the ability to tailor support to individual needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with clients
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's license
• A willingness to learn and develop your skills in this rewarding field
