We are looking for a like-minded, passionate and highly experienced individual to join our growing team as a anINDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR****Support Coordinator / Psychosocial Recovery Coach. This role is to support our participants in the Brisbane, Logan and Gold Coast areas.
As an indepnedent contractor you'll be provided with mentoring and support, the systems and the NDIS registration. As a contractor you get flexibility around how and when you work but ideally looking for someone who could commit to at least 30hrs a week.
Please note this role is an Independent Contractor position, and as such you will be required to manage all aspects of being an Independent Contractor including superannuation, tax requirements, and expenses, along with providing your own computer and phone, car etc.
We will be offering the right person between $57-$62 per hour and you will invoice based on billable hours / recoverable services.
To apply for this role, you must be able to have an appropriate area available to work from home and this area must be in line with our WHS policy. We use web-based systems to ensure team members can connect and work together quickly and easily. We are a paperless organisation and ask you do your best to work in this manner. You must be located in or near the Brisbane, Logan and Gold Coast areas.
As a Support Coordinator / Psychosocial Recovery Coach at LotUs Assist you will link NDIS participants with complex psychosocial and other disability needs to services and supports. The Psychosocial Recovery Coach will assist those who have Psychosocial Recovery Coach funding as part of their NDIS plan, by providing a recovery plan and assisting with linking to supports both clinical and non-clinical to ensure their plan is implemented in a way that meets the person’s goals, as well as, mentor/coach the individual on their recovery journey.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
MUST have CURRENT experience as a Support Coordinator. This is ESSENTIAL.
Psychosocial Recovery Coach Experience is desirable
Mental Health lived or learned experience minimum 2 years in Mental Health or Cert IV Mental Health or Peer Work is Essential.
Cert III Disability / Aged / Individual Support / Community Development OR working towards minimum Cert III and/or minimum1-year experience in the field of Community or Human Services would be desirable
Experience working with people with Psychosocial Disability
Successful experience in coordinating responsive, individualised support to participants with complex needs and their families.
A sound working knowledge of relevant legislation, NDIS procedural guidelines and the full range of community services that may be required by participants
Current First Aid and CPR credentials
Sound administration and IT systems skills
MUST HAVES:
100 Points of identification.
A valid Driver's license and comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
Full Australian working rights.
Australia Business Number (ABN).
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Valid Working With Children's Check.
Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
