About Our Client Highly respected SIL and MTA provider delivering culturally and linguistically aligned care services to participants across Sydney.
About the Role As a SIL Manager you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of Supported Independent Living homes, ensuring high-quality and person-centered care for participants. You will initially manage 1 home with 2-3 participants and add to the portfolios as you embed to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence, managing on-call, rostering, participant support and incident management.
- Problem-solving and crisis management, compliance, incident response, and stakeholder engagement to maintain a structured, supportive living environment.
- Building strong connections, and working closely with other team leaders, support workers, and stakeholders to maintain a safe, structured, and culturally inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in a health-related discipline (e.g. Community Services, Disability, Aged Care, Social Work).
- Comprehensive knowledge of NDIS frameworks, Quality and Safeguarding standards
- At least one year of experience in leadership, mentoring and managing teams.
- Strong computer literacy and problem-solving abilities.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse communities.
**Additional Information **
- Based in Maroubra with flexible working arrangements.
- A number of probity checks are required including holding a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and undertaking a National police checks.
- Ability to speak a second language is desirable.
- Applicants will complete a selection criterion and take part in a two-round interview process.
