NDIS Level 2 Support Coordinator - South / Central Metro Perth WA

JP Trusted Advisor is on the lookout for a Level 2 Support Coordinator to join their amazing team and manage an existing full-time caseload in the South/Central Metro area.

Duties

As a Support Coordinator you will be expected to assist participants with disabilities funded under the NDIS to understand and use their NDIS plan to pursue their goals, connect with NDIS providers, community, mainstream and other government services, as well as manage the challenges in their support environment.

Skills

Effectively work as part of a team and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic support when accessing multiple services.

Experience or an understanding of billable hours

Ability to work from home and remotely

Good time management

Provide high quality customer service

Actively listen to and respond appropriately to client feedback

Be understanding of the customers’ needs

Use a friendly and kind nature when interacting with clients

Ability to network and build relationships with a range of external stakeholders

Computer literate

Effective report writing

Knowledge

Desirable experience working with people with additionally high and/or complex needs

Thorough understanding of the NDIS

Thorough of the challenges faced by people with disabilities

Good understanding of disability support services available in WA

Education, Experience and Qualifications

Relevant Tertiary Degree or other relevant qualification

OR

Minimum Certificate in Community Services

OR

Minimum of 2 plus years working in the Disability or related field.

Essential Requirements

Will have or be prepared to obtain the following:

Current Drivers Licence

Current NDIS Workers Screening Check

Current Working with Children’s Check

Satisfactory Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination
