The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for aNDIS Claims Officerto join the Finance team, based at our Seven Hills site. This position plays a key role in managing the financial operations related to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all claim and reconciliation activities.
The role supports internal stakeholders by ensuring that NDIS claims are processed efficiently, payment reconciliations are accurate, and financial data is clearly reported. You will work closely with the Accounts Receivable team, the broader Finance department, and operational staff to ensure that all NDIS-related financial processes align with organisational and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:
Review weekly timesheets and generate NDIS claim values per employee in line with signed Service Agreements
Create, process, and lodge weekly NDIS claims/invoices, including reconciliations for all supported employees
Reconcile Agency-managed claims against NDIS Remittance Advice
Investigate and resolve claim anomalies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders promptly
Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payment of Agency invoices
Review month-end data, perform reconciliations, identify and resolve issues, and report findings to the Finance Manager
Ensure accurate and timely completion of required reporting
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, audits, and other fiscal planning related to NDIS data
Maintain organised filing systems and carry out other duties as required
What you will need to succeed in the role:

2–3 years’ experience in finance or accounts roles, ideally within disability services or an NDIS environment.
Strong understanding of the NDIS and its operational and financial processes.
Proven ability to manage data accuracy and financial reconciliations.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate with clarity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.
Qualification in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
Please noteThis is a part-time role, working 28 hours per week over 4 days (Monday to Thursday preferred).
