Job Description
SSI is seeking a purpose-driven and experienced National Manager to be responsible for the efficient and ethical delivery of SSI’s Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program. Supported by Department of Social Services funding through the IEA DEED agreement, this role oversees assigned Employment Services Areas (ESAs) and aligns operations with the organisation’s commitment to inclusive employment.
In this senior leadership role, you will provide direction and oversight, actively cultivating strong partnerships with employers, peak bodies, and funding agencies. These relationships reinforce operational goals and play a pivotal role in driving systemic program improvements while advancing the broader vision for inclusion.

As National Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Inclusive Employment Australia program. With oversight across service delivery and regional networks, you’ll identify opportunities, address challenges, and ensure our services adapt to an ever-changing landscape. Your leadership will guide Operations Managers and performance teams to deliver excellence, exceed KPIs, and maintain the highest standards of contract compliance.
Through strategic stakeholder engagement, you’ll influence industry outcomes and champion the rights of people with disability and refugees. Driven by innovation and continuous improvement, you’ll embed a learning culture, streamline operations, and enhance client experiences, making a meaningful, lasting difference nationwide.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Qualifications in Business Management, Leadership, or similar qualification desirable or be willing to work towards.
- Proven leadership across multi-region teams with strong commercial acumen
- Track record in achieving KPIs, service excellence, and business growth
- Knowledge of labour markets and employment services (disability highly regarded)
- Understanding of the needs of people with disability, CALD, and refugee communities
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation
- Committed to integrity, accountability, and high performance
