Paramount Care is a trusted and vibrant disability services provider committed to improving the quality of life for people with disability. We provide personalised NDIS services including daily living supports, personal care and capacity-building programs.
The main aim of our service is to improve the quality of life of our clients through understanding, commitment, respect and providing choice and independence. This is a face-to-face role where you will be working with people with disability in residential care or in-home settings.
About the Role
This is a frontline, face-to-face role supporting clients with disability and mental health challenges in residential care, in-home, and community settings. You will be helping participants achieve independence, build capacity, and engage meaningfully in their lives.
Key responsibilities:
Provide support for people living with disability and complex behavioural needs.
Demonstrated ability to establish a professional working relationship with clients that is supportive, encouraging and collaborative.
Apply positive behaviour support strategies and manage challenging behaviours with a calm, supportive approach.
Deliver high-quality personal care (showering, grooming, toileting, meal prep, domestic support).
Assist with daily living activities such as shopping, transport, and community participation.
Medication management, infection control, and safe manual handling.
Foster strong client relationships and support individual lifestyle/NDIS plans.
Knowledge of NDIS standards and ability to implement restrictive practices.
Understanding challenges faced by client with mental health and provide positive approach to manage their goals
Possess well‐developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the conflict resolution, negotiation, problem solving, and the ability to communicate effectively as a member of a team.

Essential Criteria
✅ Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field. ✅ Experience in the Mental Health sector. ✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check & Police Clearance. ✅ First Aid & CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain). ✅ Current Australian Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle. ✅ Availability and flexibility to meet client needs (weekdays & weekends).
