This is a unique hybrid role for someone who thrives in direct participant support and wants to take ownership of developing local service opportunities, building community connections, and representing our organisation across a specific region.

This role is a part-time opportunity for a minimum of 25 hours per week. Salary is equivalent of SCHADS pay point 2.1 .
About the Role As a Community Worker, you will:
Deliver high-quality, person-centred NDIS support across your assigned local area
Build connections with local services, programs, venues, and community groups
Support the onboarding and retention of participants in your region
Act as a key local presence, helping us grow our impact where it matters most
Identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen inclusion and access in your area
Contribute to local initiatives, events, and development projects
This role is ideal for a passionate, community-focused support worker who’s ready for the next step without giving up meaningful participant engagement.
You’ll Bring:
Experience in NDIS support, mental health, community development or outreach
Strong knowledge of your local area and community services
A participant-first mindset and ability to build genuine relationships
Excellent communication, initiative, and follow-through
Ability to balance direct support with area-focused responsibilities
Driver’s licence, reliable transport, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid & CPR
