We are looking for an experienced medical or allied health receptionist to be the welcoming face of our psychology practice. If you thrive in a busy healthcare environment, have experience with Medicare billing and practice management software, and live within a reasonable commute to Collingwood, we want to hear from you!
**Location:**Collingwood, Victoria **Employment Type:**Full-time (5 days per week Mon-Sat rotating) and Casual position available **Salary:**Level 4-6 ‘Support Services Employee’ under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award [MA000027]
Full-time Rate: $28.12 - $30.64/hourbased on experience, plus weekend rates, super and 17.5% annual leave loading
Casual Rate: $35.15-$38.30/hourbased on experience, plus weekend rates and super.

About the Role
As our Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Your Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Client Support– Greet clients, answer inquiries, and create a welcoming environment.
Appointment Management– Schedule and coordinate bookings efficiently.
Medicare & Billing Administration– Process payments, Medicare rebates, and private health claims.
Clinic Support– Work closely with psychologists and the operations team.

Who We’re Looking For
2+ years of experiencein medical, psychology, or allied health reception
4+ years of client services experience
Strong knowledge ofMedicare, private health billing, and appointment scheduling
Proficiency inpractice management software(Halaxy experience a bonus)
Highlyorganisedwith excellentcommunicationand multitasking skills
Resides within Melbourne’s inner suburbs and can reliably commute to Collingwood
Availability for rotating early/late shifts & occasional Saturdays
Bonus Points For:
Experience in a psychology, physiotherapy, or GP practice
Knowledge of venue coordination and operations
Accounts receivable experience
