Job Description
Westpeak Support Services are seeking a House Lead to provide leadership and oversee two (2) of their existing SIL/SDA properties, located in Melton South and Sunbury.
This role requires the ability to provide support to multiple residents, with a mixture of direct support shifts and administrative support, as well as participation in an emergency on-call after-hours roster, shared amongst others on a rotational roster.
The administrative perspective requires the successful incumbent to coordinate appointments for the NDIS Participants, oversee their care plans and promote the use and adherence to these plans. Additionally, overseeing any maintenance requests, groceries and meal plans for all residents and planning recreational activities and community engagement for the NDIS Participants who reside in these properties.
The successful incumbent will have the ability to provide leadership to a team of Disability Support Workers, encourage and promote a high standard of support and may at times be required to participate in recruitment and/or disciplinary action if required.
Requirements:
A relevant qualification in Disability and/or a related field, with significant experience in providing direct support to NDIS Participants.
Experience with administrative roles, with competing demands and the ability to adapt to change when required.
The ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in written form.
Ongoing availability that is unlikely to fluctuate or change, due to the nature of the position.
Ability to participate in a rotational out-of-hours roster for emergencies.
Ability to travel to your local Westpeak Office (Werribee) one day per week, if required, to complete administrative duties.
