About the role:
Working out of our office in Northcote will see you provide exceptional leadership and effectively manage a team of employees to deliver high quality, compliant, consumer directed services that support the principles of wellness and reablement and connects clients to their communities. The Team Leader will:
Collaborate with Program Managers, Care Advisors, Care Organisers to identify Home Care Worker recruitment needs based on current and projected service demand
Collaborate with P&C and recruitment partners to recruit and onboard a skilled, empowered and engaged Home Care Worker workforce
Monitor, evaluate and report on the operational and compliance requirements of team members
Monitor online learning requirements
Supervise team members to ensure an effective and consistent approach to care
Provide ongoing support, mentoring and management of performance
Support team members in collaboration with P&C and PM in risk and injury management and return to work plans
Operate within agreed resource frameworks and financial targets

About you:
This is the place for you if you have:
Proven leadership experience within an aged care environment is essential.
Demonstrated experience in leading, supporting, and coordinating field-based staff, particularly Home Care Workers, within an aged care setting.
Extensive experience in a community aged care setting
Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
Experience within the aged care sector
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BES****Tway of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
Essentials for working in Aged Care:
A current Working With Children Check card
Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
Australian working rights
Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
