Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a visionary and experiencedHead of Psychologyto lead our dedicated team of psychologists, counsellors, wellbeing leaders, interns, and support staff. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of student wellbeing and psychological services across our K–12 campus.
As Head of Psychology, you will:
Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team delivering best-practice, evidence-based psychological services.
Provide clinical oversight and supervision, particularly for complex student cases.
Drive proactive and preventative mental health initiatives aligned with Knox’s Total Fitness and Positive Education philosophy.
Collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement wellbeing strategies that support the Knox Graduate Profile.
Manage intern programs and maintain strong university partnerships.
Oversee departmental administration, budgets, and professional development.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader who brings:
AHPRA endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist and approval as a supervisor of clinical psychology interns.
Extensive experience counselling adolescents, particularly boys, in a school setting.
Proven leadership in psychological services and crisis management.
A strong understanding of Positive Psychology and adolescent wellbeing.
Outstanding communication skills, ethical integrity, and a commitment to holistic wellbeing.
This is a permanent, full-time role commencing in January 2026.
