Experienced Physiotherapist with Special Interest in Pain

About the role

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with a special interest in pain management? We have an exciting full-time (part-time also considered) opportunity for you to join our dedicated team at Northern Beaches Rehabilitation in our clinics in Belrose and North Narrabeen, NSW. In this vital role, you will be providing high-quality, personalised physiotherapy services as part of our comprehensive multidisciplinary pain program including working with a pain specialist, with a focus on evidence-based pain management techniques.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for clients with a range of musculoskeletal, neurological and complex pain conditions

Provide a range of physiotherapy interventions to assist with musculoskeletal conditions and management of chronic pain

Collaborate with other allied health professionals and specialists to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care

Confidently provide detailed education and advice to improve self-efficacy

Assist with the development of the multidisciplinary pain program and the broader rehabilitation service

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy

Minimum 5 years' experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and pain management

Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tailor interventions to individual client needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based physiotherapy practices

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
