About the Role
We are looking for a confident, resilient and experienced Team Leader/Program Manager to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate will have a ‘Can do attitude’, thinks outside the box and most importantly has a passion for ensuring our clients are at the centre of everything we do.

This role will be based in our state office in Osborne Park, managing multiple teams of Disability Support Workers (Mentors) across metropolitan Perth.
Ideally you will have had experience as a Disability Support Worker and have stepped up into a Team Leader role looking for a new challenge. You have experience in supporting people with complex and diverse needs such as:
• Complex Mental Health needs (Psychosocial Disability, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Schizophrenia)
• Healthcare Knowledge relating to Acquired Brain Injury and wound care
• Experience in crisis intervention and management
• Support Plans (Diabetes, Meal Time Management, Seizure)
• Behaviours of Concern
• Restrictive Practices
**On Call:**You will be part of an afterhours on-call roster.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and Manage your Disability Support teams in line with the ISA values and behaviours.
• Ensure delivery of program services in accordance with program budgets, Business Plans and in line with client needs and associated support plans.
• Deliver support programs which are compliant with legislation, practice standards, contractual requirements and internal policy and procedure.
• Ensure a consistent standard of quality delivery for programs in accordance with regulations prescribed in relevant legislation and funding agency standards.
• Manage risks and issues arising in the course of service management.
• Model a flexible and creative approach that is person centred, enabling and supporting choice and control with the balance of business and operational need.
• Model appropriate conflict resolution, communication and positive behaviour management skills.
• Maintain strong professional boundaries.
• Oversee time and attendance records of your team and manage scheduled absences.
• Be point of escalation for direct report staff complaints.
• Be point of escalation and adjudication where relevant for client complaint follow-up.
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
• A qualification in Human Services or similar - noting applicants with considerable sector experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS, practice standards, and the like.
• Demonstrated experience of working in a leadership/management role in a human services organisation - Mental Health & Disability sector preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
• Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to support productive working relationships and manage staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic thinking, problem solve and communicate with influence.
