Disability Support Workers

About the role;

INCA Home Services is looking for experienced and Qualified in Youth Work or Disability Support Workers to join our team in Chester Hill NSW 2162.

This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Essential qualifications of the role

Certificate 3 or Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Youth Work or other relevant field

Hold a current NSW Working with Children check (WWCC)

Current First Aid Certificate with CPR

National Police check with a minimum of 6 months validity.

Current Drivers licence with own transport and Compulsory insurance

NDIS work screening check

Demonstrated understanding of working with vulnerable people to live their best life

Experience in working with people with Disabilities, Mental Health and Complex Behaviours

Flexibility to work on weekdays and or weekends.

Duties Involved:

Providing personalised care and support to clients with disabilities, helping them with daily living tasks and activities

Assisting clients to achieve their goals and maintain their independence

Engaging clients in meaningful activities and social outings

Documenting client progress and updates in line with organisational policies

Promoting a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment for clients

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar role, working with people with disabilities

A genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

A reliable, patient, and compassionate approach
